Maple Forest Guesthouse!

Andi & Matt are farmers and homesteaders in Michigan, where they are busy tapping maple trees and raising their rambunctious daughter, Aster. After taking a timber framing class in 2022, they built their first small frame, an 11’ x 14’ guesthouse utilizing Hemlock sills. They are currently closing it in using natural building methods of light straw clay and plaster.

Look at that Guesthouse. What a treat for your guests. Thanks for sharing Andi & Matt!

Another Timber Triumph

After attending a timber framing workshop in 2023 Kate and Bren, inspired by their experience, designed and built an outdoor shower in 2024. Utilizing traditional timber framing techniques, they created a unique and functional outdoor space in Oregon.

Looks great Kate & Bren, who wouldn’t want to enjoy a refreshing shower in this beautifully crafted outdoor space?! Thanks for showing us!
